Filters for compressed air and gasses

Compressed air filters and filter elements are very important in a compressed air system to avoid extra moisture and dust particles. When you don’t use the right filtration in a compressed air system abrasive contaminants like desiccant fines rip trough equipment damaging sensitive internals, which introduces a whole new set of metallic contaminants to the air stream starting a chain reaction of wear. Coalescing filters remove water from the compressed air stream protecting desiccant compressed air dryers from liquid water and help you saving a lot of money when it is correctly selected.

Because D&F Techniek is fully in depended we can supply you a solution for every purpose. We also can supply you as filtration specialists, one of the most comprehensive ranges of alternative filter elements, air/oil separators and vacuum pump separators on the market today.

Designed to fit in all original manufacturers equipment, our range of alternative filter elements offer certified performance levels to meet stringent and specialist specifications. The used technology, reinforced with steel metalwork with nylon endcaps ensures that our filter elements offer a low pressure loss performance resulting in efficient, clean air. So we help you saving money!

Filters for atmospheric air:

The better the air the longer the life of the underlying system parts and the better the air environment for the process system or for the conditioned space. The frequency of replacement of air filters depends on the content of the air intake. Dirty filters cause a higher pressure drop across the filter. This cause higher operating costs in case of constant air flow. If due to the increased pressure loss of air volume decreases, the capacity of the plant thereby also decrease. Therefore filters must be regularly cleaned and / or be replaced before the saturation or the maximum allowable pressure is reached, to avoid changing’s in the system.

  •           With the right filter choice energy can be saved without sacrificing air quality
  •            Filters are the less expensive parts of the system that can improve the operating system
  •            One extra Pascal pressure loss, in a standard installation that is operating half the time throughout the hole year, cost € 1.00 extra per Pascal
  •            A bad filter construction can add 50Pa compared to a good filter design

·         It is often assumed that the efficiency of the filter has the biggest influence on the initial pressure drop. In some filter classes, the design of the filter itself has the biggest influence.
